Boys and Girls Republic Winter Indoors Gym The Boys and Girls Republic is located at 888 East 6th Street. SUBWAY Take the F Train to Second Avenue. Walk east four blocks and turn left onto Avenue D. Walk five blocks and turn right onto East 6th Street. Take any train to 14th Street and transfer to any bus going east on 14th Street (all buses go south on either Ave. A, B, or C, D). Get off at 6th Street on any of these buses and walk east on 6th Street to 888 which is between Avenue D and the FDR on the south side of the street. It is the low-rise after-school facility in the middle of the block with BR on the wall. BUS M8 to Avenue D and East 6th Street M21 to Avenue C and East 6th Street M14 to Avenue D and East 6th Street CAR OR CAB Take the FDR Drive to the Houston Street exit. Turn right onto Avenue D.
Baruch Soccer Field The Baruch Field is situated just south of Bard High School (525 East Houston Street) very close to the FDR Drive. The entrance is on Baruch Place off Mangin Street. (The Houston Street field is just over the FDR footbridge at Houston Street’s most eastern point). Type in "525 E. Houston Street" as your destination on www.hopstop.com for subway bus directions. By bus and subway. Most timely option is by the M14 bus via either Avenue C or Avenue D and terminating at Delancey Street. Fortunately, the M14 bus is listed as having "frequent service." (Note: The M14 via Avenue A to Grand Street is NOT convenient.) Any train to 14th Street and transfer to the M14 bus that operates via Avenues C or D and get off at the stop east of Avenue D on Houston Street between Baruch Place and Mangin Street. (The stop is right in front of Bard High School). The directional sign reads "Delancey Street." You can either take the M14 from any point along 14th Street, or take the L to 1st Avenue (the subway may be faster than the bus) and transfer from there. F or V trains to 2nd Avenue-Houston Street and then walk up Houston for 4/5 of a mile. Return trip: M14 from the Northeast corner of Avenue D at Houston St. to 14th Street for connections on 14th Street

East River Park soccer field at Houston Street. Transportation routes: By Subway or Bus to the East River Park Bus: All M14D busses go to the FDR and Houston St fields M21 stops closest at Ave C and Houston St. M15 to Houston St. and 2nd Ave. Subway: J/M/Z trains at Essex St. walk east 4 blocks / cross over FDR pedestrian bridge at Delancy St.walk 3 blocks north to Houston St. F/V Trains to 2 Ave, walk east 6 blocks to FDR drive. B/D trains at Grand St., walk uptown 2 blocks. J/M/Z trains at Bowery, walk uptown 2 blocks/1 block east.
